Skeleton / Shimmer

The skeleton/shimmer pattern gives users a preview of what is currently loading on the page by displaying a placeholder low-fidelity layout. As users wait for the page to load, a subtle shimmer animation is displayed on a low fidelity representation of the content before it appears on view. This helps ease the transition between loading and completion to the user.
